ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2021
Shook Lin & Bok was announced as the winner of the Debt Market Deal of the Year at the ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2021 Virtual Awards Ceremony held in July 2021.
The transaction involved the issuance of Sukuk Wakalah of up to RM10.0 Billion in nominal value by Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad, via a special purpose vehicle as the Issuer.
Shook Lin & Bok advised Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad in the transaction, and the team was led by Jal Othman, the Head of the Islamic Finance Practice Group.
