Mr Sudharsanan Thillainathan, a Partner of the Firm and the current Deputy President of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb) presented a paper on the topic of “Evolving Jurisprudence on Section 42 Arbitration Act 2005” at MIArb’s 4th Annual Law Review & Conference on 18 May 2017 at the KLRCA Bangunan Sulaiman Auditorium.
The paper focussed on a critical analysis of the challenges and complexities caused by Section 42 and the case for legislatively reforming Section 42.
