法律醒觉活动 2017（英文版）
Shook Lin & Bok has been invited to share our knowledge on several topics during Genting Group’s Legal Awareness Programme for 2017 at Resorts World Genting on August 9, 2017. The session, attended by personnel from the Group’s middle and senior management, discussed topics that covers both the litigation and commercial aspects of the law.
Mr Michael Soo, Head of our Intellectual Property, Information Technology & Licensing Department, shared an overview on the protection of trademarks, trade names, copyrights and industrial designs while Mr Ivan Ho Yue Chan, Head of our Corporate Department, spoke on certain legal aspects relating to contractual obligations, sharing some tips and insights on the contractual clauses and issues. The session continued with presentations by Mr Romesh Abraham and Mr Tan Gian Chung who spoke on the recent developments in the Malaysian courts on the issue of harassment and privacy and the salient aspects of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 respectively.
