Overview

Nina joined the firm as an Associate in 2015, became a Senior Associate in 2019, and subsequently became a Partner in 2023.

Her areas of practice include arbitration, building, construction & engineering, dispute resolution and privacy and data protection. She has handled and managed arbitration and related court proceedings, adjudication and related court proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012, court proceedings and court-assisted mediations relating to construction, contractual and tortious disputes. Nina has also acted as lead counsel before the Court of Appeal involving arbitration related disputes and commercial disputes.

In recent years, Nina has contributed to various publications in construction law and dispute resolution. She co-authored a chapter in “Law and Practice of Construction Law in Malaysia” (Sweet & Maxwell 2021), contributed the Malaysia chapter of CDR – Essential Intelligence: The Belt and Road Initiative published by Global Legal Group, London, and co-authored the Malaysian chapter on Construction Law 2022, part of the Chambers Global Practice Guides.

Nina previously served as the Honorary Secretary of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb) (2021 – 2023) and an Ordinary Council Member of the MIArb (2019 – 2021). She was also part of the Editorial, Publicity and Public Relations Committee of the MIArb.
