Lex Virtus: Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Law Orientation Programme
We are pleased to have been amongst the Platinum Sponsors for Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Law Orientation Programme this year.
The programme, which is dubbed Lex Virtus, is a one-week orientation programme organised by the Faculty of Law’s senior students to integrate freshmen into the law school as well as to introduce core values of the legal profession such as courtesy and professionalism to them.
Our partners, Poh Choo Hoe and Wendy Lee Wan Chieh and senior associate, Sanjiv Naddan had the pleasure of speaking to the freshmen on the topic of “Shook Lin & Bok: Life as a Lawyer and the Transition from Student to Practice” during the programme where they shared what life in practice with the firm is like, as well as their experiences in their respective practice areas over the years. Also in attendance during the session was our partner, Hoo Yee Huan, who later joined the speakers on stage to take questions from the eager students.
