In the light of recent media reports about an alleged cyber intrusion (“said IT issue”) affecting Messrs. Shook Lin & Bok in Singapore (“SLB Sg”), we would like to inform our clients that Messrs. Shook Lin & Bok in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (“our firm”) is not affected by the said IT issue. Our firm’s servers are not linked in any way to SLB Sg.
Although both our firm and SLB Sg carry our founders’ names, the two firms are distinct and independently managed law firms which do not share any IT infrastructure, data or resources.
