National Litigation Conference
Shook Lin and Bok’s Chief Executive Partner, Michael Soo, received a token of appreciation from the Chief Justice of Malaysia, Tan Sri Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat, for sponsoring a session at the National Litigation Conference held recently on November 30, 2019. The event was graced by, amongst others, the Chief Justice, the acting President of the Court of Appeal, Datuk Rohana Yusof, and several Judges of the Federal Court, Court of Appeal and High Court as well as Judicial Commissioners. Our senior partner, Yoong Sin Min, was a panelist together with Federal Court Judge Datuk Nallini Pathmanathan, lawyer Andrew Chiew and forensic accountant Tan Kim Chuan who presented and discussed current judicial trends concerning fraud in insolvencies.
