Seminar on An Introduction to Islamic Finance
Mr Jal Othman, Head of the Firm’s Finance practice group presented on the topic of “Salient Features of IFSA 2013” in the seminar held on 3 May 2017 organised by the Bar Council Islamic Finance Committee with the theme “An Introduction to Islamic Finance”. The Firm is and has been actively involved in the various professional development programmes organised by the Bar Council as part of the Firm’s commitment towards the continuous training and education for the members of the Malaysian Bar.
Jal provided a background overview of the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 and drew the attendees’ attention to the salient features of the Act in his engaging one and a half hours session at the Raja Aziz Addruse Auditorium, Kuala Lumpur.
