AIAC ASIA ADR WEEK 2023
Our firm is delighted to have been amongst the Gold Sponsors for the AIAC ADR WEEK 2023 which took place from 24th to 26th August 2023. The event, which was organised by the Asian International Arbitration Centre, was a hybrid event and saw speakers and delegates hailing from different countries congregate at the Sulaiman Building in Kuala Lumpur to share their thoughts and experience on current issues relative to alternative dispute resolution.
Lam Ko Luen, our partner and Head of our Arbitration (International & Domestic) department had the pleasure of speaking at Session 3 of Day 1 of the event, which was entitled “Annulled But Not Forgotten: Enforceability of Arbitral Awards”. Also on the panel for this session were Dato Sunil Abraham (Cecil Abraham & Partners), Ms Kim Rooney (Gilt Chambers) and Mr Thayananthan Baskaran (Baskaran), and the session was moderated by Datuk D P Naban (RDS Partnership)
